Methodology
Receipts before reach.
TRT is designed to make a noisy information flow auditable: one event, one canonical brief, explicit sources, visible unknowns and correction history.
1. Detect
We monitor official company channels, regulatory filings, agencies and a limited set of credible reporting sources. Detection is not publication. A headline or social post only creates a candidate event.
2. Cluster and verify
A filing, press release and several news stories may describe the same underlying event. We cluster those documents, identify the primary source and separate direct facts from company-reported claims and external reporting.
3. Explain the significance
Every brief distinguishes confirmed facts, our interpretation of why the event matters, and what remains unknown. We avoid turning contract ceilings into revenue, partnerships into sales, or a price move into proof of causality.
4. Review before publication
No monitored item is meant to publish automatically. An editor reviews material numbers, dates, source links, company relationships and the certainty of the headline. Approved briefs enter the next publication batch; a genuinely urgent, approved event can advance that build.
5. Correct visibly
Material changes belong on the canonical page with an updated timestamp and correction note. We do not create a clean replacement that hides the earlier error.
Our source hierarchy
- Regulatory filings and official decisions
- Investor-relations materials, presentations and calls
- Company or institution newsrooms
- Named primary documents and contract notices
- Credible independent reporting for corroboration or unavailable facts
What TRT does not provide
TRT does not provide personalized investment advice, model portfolios, buy or sell calls, or artificial price targets. A strong business can still be an unattractive security at a given price, and an important private company may have no public ticker at all.
